    District Guide

      Kepong is a major township in the borders of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, located about 6 km from the KLCC, to the south of Sungai Buloh, to the east of Bukit Lanjan, to the west of Selayang and to the north of Jalan Duta. The main access roads to Kepong are Damansara-Puchong Expressway, Jalan Kuching, MRR II and Jalan Ipoh. Kepong is one of the 11 Kuala Lumpur constituencies represented in the Malaysian Parliament. The current Member of Parliament representing the constituent is Tan Seng Giaw from Democratic Action Party.

      Among the attractions and landmarks available here are such as FRIM Kepong (Forest Research Institute Malaysia), Temasek Pewter Factory, 3 Chinese Temples, Kepong Metropolitan Park, Taman Recreasi (Lake Garden) Bandar Menjarala, Jusco Metro Prima, The Waterfront, Carrefour Kepong, Brem Mall, Cystal Crown Hotel, Bukit Sri Bintang, Tesco Kepong, and etc.

      In the aspect of transportation, there are two KTM stations located in Kepong, i.e. the Kepong station and the later built Kepong Sentral station. Both stations operate on the Rawang-Seremban route. Other that this, RapidKL, Metrobus and Selangor bus provides transport here as well.
