Bangi is a small town located in Selangor. Despite its size, it has a KTM Komuter station. But that is where its urban characteristics come to a halt. Most modern living can be done in Bandar Baru Bangi located north to the original township. The new and improved Baru Bangi is significantly more developed than its predecessor. The name given translates to New Bangi Town and is even well known throughout the state as its "Knowledge City".
