Sunway City’s Opal Damansara semi-detached condominiums in Sunway Damansara recently bagged two real estate awards from the Asian Habitat Summit 2010 and the World Association of Chinese Architects (WACA).

The 248-unit condo project was developed by Sunway Damansara Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SunCity.

The Sunway Opal Damansara Condominium received the 2010 Green Asian Townscape Award at the Third Asian Habitat Summit 2010 in Fukuoka, Japan.

The Asian Habitat Summit, which is held once every two years, urges members to discuss the construction of residential environment and exchange research results, as well as boost sustainable development of the Asian undertaking of residential environment.

Opal Damansara was also awarded the WACA'S 2010 Design Grand Award of Chinese Residential Projects. A platform for elite Chinese architects to publicise their expertise and achievements, WACA hopes to boost creativity and innovation among architects through interaction and academic exchanges.
