Setia Indah is a self-contained township in Johor Bahru . The township sits on a 888-acres is developed by SP Setia and it is their second project in Johor. Setia Indah is surrounded by several other townships like Bandar Dato Onn, Taman Daya, Taman Jaya Putra Perdana and Seri Austin. Setia Indah is also within a short distance from Senai International Airport.
This township is easily accessible via numerous expressway such as the North-South Expresswat, Pasir Gudang Highway, Tebrau Highway and the Eastern Dispersal Link which provides direct link across the CIQ.
Setia Indah comprises mainly of residential homes like terrace houses, cluster homes, semi-detached houses, bungalows and serviced apartments as well as commercial area built for the convenience of the community. The residential homes are spread out into several precincts within Setia Indah and each precinct is gated and guarded. Further to that, each of the precinct also features open spaces and playgrounds.
As a self-contained township, the developer of Setia Indah makes sure there are enough amenities and facilities within the neighbourhood for the convenience of the community available within short distance. Among the amenities found in the neigbourhood include markets, convenience store, police station, eateries and many more. Furthermore, there are several hypermarkets, golf course, schools and collages located within 5km radius of the township.
Some of the public schools within proximity of Setia Indah are SMK Taman Daya 2, SMK Tun Fatimah Hashim,SK Daya 3 and SMK Taman Daya, Sekolah Agama Taman Setia Indah whilst Fairview International School Johor and Austin Heights Private and International Schools are some of the popular international schools around the area.
Within the neighbourhood are also several clinics where one can go for minor medical treatment whilst for emergency, KPJ Bandar Dato’ Onn Specialist Hosptal, Kempas Medical Centre and Sultan Ismail Hospital are all within easy reach.
The beauty about living in Setia Indah is that one is able to be close to nature as there are plenty of parks planned in the development of the township so residents will not have to travel too far for recreational purpose. The township features an 18-acre town park within the development which has a basketball court, football field,jogging track, aerobic corner and Tai Chi Corner. Other nearby recreational amenities include Austin Heights Water & Adventure Park, Austin Height Resort and Starhill Golf & Country Club.
For the convenience of the community, there is also a wet market and a Pasar Malam in Setia Indah where one can get fresh produce. In addition, there are also several mini-markets and supermarket such as Gee Huat Mini Market,Pasar Mini Safa,Summit Mini Market and Maslee Cash & Carry Setia. The Pasar is a supermarket in neighbouring Mount Austin area which offers a wider choice of products. Other nearby hypermarkets are Tesco Extra Tebrau City, Mydin Hypermarket Pelangi Indah and Heromarket, all of which are within close vicinity. Ben’s Independent Grocer in the newly open Toppen Shopping mall nearby offers a different supermarket experience as it carries a wide range of imported products.
Within the township are some commercial hub where the community can do their shopping in, such as, Uptown Hub and The Mercato@Setia Indah. However, there is no shopping mall in this neighbourhood. The nearest shopping mall is AEON Mall Bandar Dato’ Onn, whilst other shopping malls in the vicinity are Toppen Shopping Mall, Sutera Mall Johor Bahru, AEON Mall Tebrau City, IKEA Tebrau and Paradigm Mall Johor. All these malls offers a wide range of retail brands, eateries, entertainment and variety of services for the entire family.
