SD2 is accessible via an excellent network of major roads and highways. Just outside the suburb of Bandar Sri Damansara is the famous LDP highway (Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong) leading to Puchong at one end and to Kepong which connects to the main road of Jalan Kepong. SD4 is also accessible via SPRINT Highway and entering into Jalan Damansara then connecting to the LDP. Another is the Penchala Link that connects it to Mont Kiara and Sri Hartamas. Other nearby highways are The Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (Duke) and The North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE). For public transport, there are 2 MRT (Mass Rapid Transport) stations serving this area, which are MRT Sri Damansara Station and MRT Metro PrimaStation, both of which are only 9 minutes away.

There are pockets of green fields and parks for families and their children within Bandar Sri Damansara itself. However, for bigger parks with playground for children, there are the Central Park in Bandar Utama, The West Park and East Park. A short driving distance away, there is a green lung which is the Bukit Kiara Federal Park. For the more active and adventurous, there are hiking and trekking trails, it is also a great place to go for invigorating morning or evening walks.

Bandar Sri Damansaraand its neighbouring suburbs abound with outlets and shops for daily living amenities. There is a commercial and business area within Bandar Sri Damansara itself with many banks such as Alliance Bank, and Hong Leong Bank, F & B outlets, 24 hour convenience stores, and many other retail stores. There is a good variety of Chinese food stalls and “Kopi Tiams” Malay mamak eateries as well as Western food.
