UNIO Residence is a leasehold service residence located at Jalan Kepong, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. Expected to be completed in October 2021, this new residential project launched in 2017 is the very first real estate development of Aikbee Development (Kepong) Sdn Bhd who is well known for The Pearl Kuala Lumpur, Pearl Point Shopping Mall and Pearl Point Condominium developments. The property is named UNIO which means large pearl in Latin, to symbolize generosity, integrity and loyalty. Type C consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 carpark bays with built up size ranging 1,139 square feet whereas Type D consist of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 carpark bays with built up size ranging 1,139 square feet. Type E comes with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 parking lot with built up size ranging 872 square feet. Type F is the smallest with built up size ranging 536 square feet and offers 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom plus 1 carpark bay. The property built on this 2.24 acres of land was launched at an initial price of RM 413,600 per unit. In relation to the different unit size on sale, the price can hike up to as much as RM 1.2 million. The price ranges from RM 617 to RM 635 per square feet. Akibee Group started out as a timber factory and only move to real estate development in the 1990s thus there is only limited number of property projects under this developer which are Pearl Suria and Pearl Point Condominium. Other projects around Jalan Kepong are First Residence, Fortune Avenue, The Henge Kepong, Fortune Perdana, and Fortune Court.
