Among the established restaurants nestled within the enclave are Chow Yan Restaurant, Pelita Nasi Kandar Restaurant, The Cave, Restoran Murni and McDonalds. SS2 has a wide selection of public schools following the national curriculum in both primary and secondary education. Popular private and international schools are also located within easy travelling distance of the area. Few of the schools are SRJK Puay Chai, SRK Taman Sea, SMK Taman Sea, Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School and Prime education Ltd. In addition, there are plenty of banks including Maybank, Alliance Bank, Southern Bank, Affin Bank and RHB Bank. As for places of worship there are a few around, namely Masjid Aminah Al-Muhairi, The Community Baptist Church, Chempaka Buddhist Lodge, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple and Gurdwara Sahib Petaling Jaya Sikh Temple.
