Along the boundaries, the Core Zone pass through Lebuh Farquhar, Stewart Lane, sectioned Chulia Street, Buckingham Road, Toh Aka Lane, Beach Street, Victoria Street and Weld Quay.

Surrounding the core zone is a 150.04-hectare band called the buffer zone. The Buffer Zone, it is surrounded by Transfer Road, Burmah Road, Dr.Lim Chwee Leong Road and Prangin Street Ghaut. Along the boundaries, the Buffer Zone passing through Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Sri Bahari Road, Argyll Road, Jalan Ariffin, sectioned Hutton Lane, Pupus Lane, Kedah Road, Lebuh Dickens, Jalan Khoo Sian Ewe, Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Jalan Sungai Ujong, Jalan Pintal Tali, Carnarvon Street,Beach Street, Victoria Street and Weld Quay.
