Perhaps being mostly known as the base for Anwar Ibrahim, Permatang Pauh is a small town located Central Seberang Perai District, Penang. By using the Penang bridge, Federal Route 1 and the PLUS expressway, one can easily arrive at campus of several universities like the USM Engineering Campus in Bukit Panchor (28 minutes drive), USM campus in Gelugor (18 minutes drive), Penang International Dental Colleg in Butterworth (11 minutes drive) and Standford International College in Perai (11 minutes drive).
