Shah Alam is a mature township with a wide variety of properties in the area. Commercial properties include shop-offices, office blocks, shop lots and shopping malls. Flat, apartment, service residence and condominiums have also become popular choices for the residents in Shah Alam over the last decade.
The district replaced Kuala Lumpur as the capital city of Selangor in 1978 and also became home to the famous Blue Mosque or Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah.
