Segambut Tengah is an area under the Segambut region. Whereas Segambut is city that is located in Kuala Lumpur . Few of the prosperous neighbourhoods nearby Segambut Tengah are Mont Kiara and Dutamas. This area consist of large sets of industrial and commercial premises along with a few residential places. There are many amenities that can be accessed in and around the neighbourhood. It is also a strategic location for developments as it has easy access to multiple major highways.
It takes about 15 minutes to get to Kuala Lumpur City Centre from Segambut Tengah via Jalan Segambut and Route 1 where they can have easy access to a variety of amenities such as parks, shop lots, entertainment spots, food court and other amenities such as schools, banks and worship places. Another way to access Segambut Tengah is by using public transportation which would be the KTM which travels along the Rawang-Seremban route. One can also travel to and around the area by using the RapidKL buses U7 and U11. Some of the places that can be visited to spend leisure time and have fun are Swiss Dream Circus (Malaysia Tour), National Palace, KL Tzu-Chi Jing Si Hall, National Science Centre and ASEAN Sculpture Garden.
Segambut Tengah is indeed a great place to live in. It is surrounded by beautiful developments and a variety of amenities. The residents of the development do not have to worry about anything because everything is easily available in the locality. Segambut Tengah is considered to be a great place for those who love to do shopping because there are many famous shopping spots in the area. There are mini-markets in the area that provide local and international products at reasonable prices. These min-markets include JF Solid Care Mini Market, F.A Mini Market, Jom Ke 3m Mini Market Meraya @ Putramas, Kk Super Mart Segambut (SGB2) and Kepong Mini Market. There are many well-known clinics and hospitals in the area where the residents can go in case of any medical situation. Few of the clinics and hospitals near the development are namely Klinik Kesihatan Ibu dan Anak Segambut, Klinik Mediviron M-Avenue, Klinik Param Dan Surgeri, Klinik Pakar Kanak Kanak Tan and Pusat Perkhidmatan Perubatan Ikhwan. For those who enjoy the nightlife especially youngsters can go to W CLUB KL, Level 5 dance club, Viking Club, Demo Club (previously known as Level Club) and MeV Club – The Fun Pub Place at Salaris Dutamas, Damansara.
Parents do not have to worry as there are many educational institutions located in the neighbourhood. Few of the schools are SK Segambut Makmur, Tabika Kemas Segambut Tengah, French School of Kuala Lumpur, Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Sri Sinar and Smart Reader Kids Taman Sri Sinar. There are parks located in the area where residents can go to for walks, cycling, jogging or even picnic just to get away from work and just relax while enjoying the beauty of nature. Few of the parks are Taman Sri Sinar Park, Kepong Baru Park, Sri Bintang Hill Trail, Kepong Metropolitan Park and The East Park.
