Whether It's Residential, Commercial Or Industrial, Co-Create Tomorrow And Beyond With EcoWorld

November 18, 2021

Across the country, Eco World Development Group Berhad, also known as EcoWorld, has created many iconic residential and commercial projects in Malaysia.

Phase 1 of the group’s 19.4-acre state-of-the-art Bukit Bintang City Centre Kuala Lumpur (BBCC), slated to be completed soon, is just one example. The commercial and residential hub will consist of luxury residences, a shopping mall, entertainment hub, strata offices and a transit centre.

The Malaysian public-listed integrated property developer has a total of 20 ongoing projects in the Klang Valley, Iskandar Malaysia and Penang and has grown to become one of Malaysia’s biggest property developers with a sizeable landbank of more than 8,000 acres.

To help more Malaysians cope with the economic instability resulting from the pandemic, EcoWorld launched duduk – a sub brand specially crafted to cater to the needs of the M40 group. The initiative, which has been put in place since 2020, provides Malaysia’s middle-income group with 1,000 sq ft homes.

Building A Global Brand

Outside Malaysia, EcoWorld has been expanding its global footprint and in 2015, launched its first overseas project through the group’s international arm – EcoWorld International Bhd.

Today, the company has 18 ongoing and upcoming projects in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Grabbing headlines recently was the launch of Embassy Gardens in London with a 25-meter transparent sky pool, said to be the largest freestanding acrylic pool structure in the world!

Such projects showcase EcoWorld’s ability to be a thought leader and innovator in the pursuit of finding better ways to enhance living experiences. At the same time, the group hopes its projects leave a positive economic, social, and environmental impact.

Together We Create

EcoWorld’s latest campaign “Together We Create” shines the spotlight on the concept of co-creation, although the idea isn’t totally new to the group. It first explored the concept in 2019, when it looked into the idea of building homes for all generations.

EcoWorld sees its customers as co-creation partners by first listening to their want and needs. From there, the developer provides design concepts and green innovation strategies to create residential or commercial spaces that fulfils their customers aspirations.

As a responsible business, EcoWorld promises to listen to its customers’ needs and aspirations post-purchase too. This, the developer believes, is key to building sustainable communities that can be appreciated for generations to come.

Together We Create Joyful Living

Through in-depth analysis looking at buying trends and consumer insights in the real estate sector, EcoWorld found gaps in certain product offerings. For example, the group saw a requirement for products catering to first-time homebuyers and young families. This led to conceptualisation of lifestyle products like Co-Home and ErgoHomes.

The Co-Home concept at Eco Grandeur and Eco Horizon, is a hybrid single floor living concept, where you can choose to purchase either an upper floor unit or a ground floor unit.

This satisfies the needs of many aspiring homebuyers who want a landed living lifestyle at an affordable price-point as buyers can potentially buy both units, and lease out one.

At the same time, the concept also appeals to multi-generational families who want to be close to each other, but not under the same roof.

Meanwhile, ErgoHomes was born out of a growing need for affordable yet spacious landed homes.

Putting a spin on the traditional clustered terraced house model, ergonomics was used to make each unit in the project a corner terraced house, and therefore providing ample space for growing families.

Coupled with attractive price points, both products appealed to first-time homebuyers and young families. The schemes are also salient examples of how a win-win outcome can be achieved, whereby developers can build successful projects by listening carefully to their customer’s needs.

Alternatively, buyers can also consider Garden Homes – another innovative concept by EcoWorld.

Garden Homes at Eco Grandeur allows residents to enjoy both indoor and outdoor living and has a 5-feet* side garden that can be transformed into a mini zen garden or a relaxation zone.

Meanwhile, Garden Homes at Eco Botanic has a 10-feet* lifestyle porch with numerous possibilities – the space can be converted into an indoor Work From Home (WFH) area, an entertainment area, a kids play area, or even an outdoor BBQ and dining area. The project also has a 20-feet* to 30-feet* back lane garden set in a car-free zone where kids can explore the outdoors safely!

Together We Create Thriving Communities

For the business community, EcoWorld’s growing townships presents tremendous opportunity for young entrepreneurs to collaborate on new ventures. The developer is confident that its business networks, connectivity, innovation and focus on sustainability are key ingredients that businesses can leverage on to grow.

Together We Create Sustainable Businesses

The group’s Eco Business Parks (EBP) teams provide a one-stop service to assist industrialists and business owners with the setting up of their operations. EcoWorld’s green industrial products, innovative solutions and strategic locations give business owners the undeniable edge in their business venture.

Eco Business Park I, for example, is a unified industrial hub in that was established to provide a flexi space concept for businesses with a whole floor loading of 10kN/m2, making it suitable for corporate offices, retails, showrooms, warehouses and more. Each unit comes with energy-efficient skylight that helps to reduce the usage of artificial lighting while lowering the cost of maintenance.

Eco Business Park I is also designed to allow owners to expand the mezzanine floor for future development. If you need more details about EBP I, follow this link.
