Kapar is a town located in Selangor and situated in the district of Klang. It can be reached via Federal Route 5. A very minor town, it is most noted for its name being emblazoned on Kapar Energy or Power. This is supplied via its very own power plant named the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Power Station, located on the outskirts of Kapar.
This very station supplies power to a lot if not most of Selangor. Other than that, the area is rather modest with an Eon Bank and an Institut Informatics located along Jalan Raja Bot (road). The area is also right next to the Kapar River that leads into Malacca’s Straits! Its residential area mainly is in Bukit Kampung Kapar, which even houses its own Mosque. It is also en route towards Port Klang.
