The site is occasionally used for traditional Islamic performances. The Selangor State Museum (Sultan Alam Shah Museum) exhibits many artifacts and artefacts related to Selangor’s past. Situated nearby, the Selangor Islamic Arts Complex houses many Islamic masterpieces and creativities such as a variety of Islamic calligraphy, known as khat, and a number of precious treasures. Within the complex is an Islamic Art College. An art gallery and performance center named Laman Budaya is situated on the banks of the Lake Gardens, where exhibits and displays take place regularly.
