Kempas is a suburb in Johor Bahru , Johor. It is also within the Pulai parliamentary constituency. Kempas is separated to two parts, Kempas Baru and Kempas Lama. Kempas was previously colonized by the Japanese army. Kempas got its name from a strong type of wood. There are many rivers and chilly plantations around Kempas.
