My name is Michael Kh’ng, property agent from The Roof Realty Sdn Bhd, Penang Branch.
I have been working in a real estate industry for about 16 years in Penang. I specialized in renting, however I also focus on selling at residential, office and retail properties at Penang Island. I pay more attention on servicing my customers as good services will maintain a good relationship with my client. Lots of landlords and tenants using my services at all the time, from the very early period while I am in the real estate line until now, it has been over the 15 years. I enjoyed my work and my job. What makes me substance in this real estate line? I always stand in the tenant and landlord's shoes to think about their issue and help them to solve the problem. This is the main item which makes me continuously survive in real estate field for 16 years. Of course knowledge of the properties, skill, law, tax issue, problem solving, relationship with all levels of people and etc are the points make me doing well in this industry. I love what I am doing. Which item makes me good? A lot of property negotiators or property agents in this firm just come in to earn fast money and just learn the basic knowledge to do business. They are not really professional about what is the contract law, tenancy agreement, selling process, what is the importance of the documentation usage…. and etc. I am passionate about my work and what I do.
