As a buyer in Johor Bahru, I am interested in buying a few houses but it seems that all property agents here still maintain that both the seller and buyer have to pay their commission. It seems unfair to the buyer when the rules CLEARLY states that they cannot collect from both parties so what can we do in this situation? Are Johor property agents allowed to flout the rules just because they all agree in doing so?
