Can a Residents Association registered with the ROS invoice and collect Sinking Fund monthly from Owners of a Landed, Freehold property consisting of Semi-Ds and Bungalows only?
I am under the impression only a JMB/JMC or MC of a "Strata" type property can collect monthly Sinking Fund contributions from its Owners under powers granted by the Strata Management Act. This Act does not cover non "strata" properties. Am I right?
Could you please clarify if its even "lawful" for non strata properties to collect monthly Sinking Fund contributions from its Owners? If yes, under what Act?
