Hi, I wonder if you could clarify something for me. I did read the guide for foreigners to buy properties in Malaysia. As I see it seems to be clear that the rule changes that were announced in 2020 where a foreigner could buy again properties under 1 Million were not implemented as of now.
However, would you be able to tell me if a foreigner is a Permanent Residence (PR) holder with the red IC is he falling into this rule? What limitation if any apply for a foreigner with a PR in Malaysia?
