The unique selling point of this property is its design that features nature in its development. To this end, more than 3,000 trees have been planted to aid in landscaping. The Bukit Lanjan forest reserve is an outright attraction to the property in addition to the superb panoramic view of the KLCC skyline. The developers also estimate a total of 20 acres of forest when the project is complete in 2022 and this will be a major attraction. Some of the easily accessible malls include the 1 Utama, Giant Kota Damansara, and Carrefour Kepong. The British International School of Kuala Lumpur is a few miles away, and so is the Twintech University.
Once complete, the project will feature an Olympic sized swimming pool supplemented by a wading pool for children. The project comes in the form of condominiums with the tenure being freehold. The property sits on 13 acres of land. The four blocks are built at approximately 180 meters (86-storeys) above sea level and have 229 units in total. All the units come with 3+1 bedrooms and are flanked with three bathrooms. The units are served with two parking lots. The built-up area ranges from 1,425 square feet to 1,610 square feet. The maintenance fee per square foot is pegged at RM 0.25. The launch price for the project was RM 400 psf, and this is expected to change as more tenants take up the project. The built-up area for the largest space is 1,600 sf, and the smallest built-up area is 1400 sf. The units in this development come as three bathrooms and 3+1 bedrooms.
As expected of mammoth projects like the Damansara Foresta, there are different layout for the units.The A1 type comes with 3+1 bedrooms and three bathrooms all which occupy 1,425 square feet. The A2 type is bigger than the A1 type but still contain three bathrooms and 3+1 bedrooms. The remaining layouts, B1, B2, C, and D increase in size as listed up to DType, which has the biggest space at 1,625 sf. All have three bathrooms, and 3+1 bedrooms. Space can be furnished as an owner wishes except for a few that are semi-furnished.
The project was initially expected to be completed in 2015, but this has been extended to 2022 due to the extensive landscaping and facilities that are to be added. The launch price was RM 400 per square foot along many other perks. The Land & General group have been the sole developer of the project, and all the landscaping achievements have been done by them. There was a fear of abandonment given the vastness of the project, but this is unlikely given that the L & G has the cash needed for all the development. The project was well received by buyers and tenants given its nature-themed development and the beautiful Kuala Lumpur skyline view offered by the condominiums.
