I lease here as an expat working in KK city. The location is decent—you can hop onto Jalan Putatan easily, and the airport’s just a few minutes away. The apartment is spacious enough and reasonably priced. That said, the immediate amenities are limited—no convenience shops or cafes right next door. It's functional, but you’ll need to drive a bit for groceries or a decent brunch spot.

Convenient for families, but not much else
We moved into Garden Court 2 last year. It’s in a good spot—close to schools like SK Kampung Contoh and some local eateries, which is great for the kids. The community’s quiet and the longer-term residents are friendly. But honestly, apart from the basic pool and kid-friendly space, there aren’t any nearby malls or extras—it’s very no-frills. Good for families on a budget, but don’t expect much buzz.

Basic but good value
I recently walked through Garden Court 2 and found it the rental surprisingly affordable. Viewed a 3-bedroom unit for rent, 850 sq ft unit for RM 1,500/month, which I think is really good. The building has a 5‑floor, low-rise vibe with a nice swimming pool and playground. It’s nothing flashy, but clean and functional. If you're hunting for a budget-friendly place near Putatan, this place is quite worth it... it's high on my list of KIV.
