Solid Investment Choice
As an investor I looked at Scott Sentral because of its freehold status, central location and multiple unit sizes (~804–1,733 sq ft) as per listings. Sale PSF range is around RM 430–583 per sq ft for many units now. My advice: go for a higher floor with a good view (away from traffic), inspect the unit condition, and budget for refurbishment. Yield is moderate, so this is more a medium-term hold than a quick flip. -

Excellent Location & Facilities
We bought here as owner-occupiers because the access to transport and amenities is strong: monorail nearby, shops, food stalls, and within minutes of KL Sentral. The gym, pool and squash court are decent for a city condo. That said, being in a busy part of Brickfields means you deal with traffic and the lift lobby/corridor finishes aren’t as luxe as newer builds. If you want top-tier finishing you’ll have to renovate. -

Freehold & Central — But Condition Shows
We’ve lived in Scott Sentral for about 4 years now. The freehold status in central Brickfields was what hooked us, and the walking distance to KL Sentral/MRT/Monorail makes our commute easy. Our unit (~1,231 sq ft) gives good space for city living. On the flip side: the building was completed in 2006 so some common areas show their age, and lower-floor units facing the road do hear city noise in the evenings. -
