Kampung Pulai is a freehold agriculture land which located in Gua Musang, Kelantan. Kampung Pulai is surrounded by beautiful scenery of hills, rubber plantation and other agriculture. This Hakka Village is situated just a 15 minutes of driving distance from Gua Musang Town. Pulai was distant and cut off from the outside world. The early settlers were inter-marries with Orang Asli women due to the shortage of Chinese females. Therefore, most of the villagers are mixed blood. In addition, Pulai Princess Cave is also one of the attraction in Kampung Pulai. Other name of this cave is Zhi Xia Dong or Zi Xia Dong. This cave is located in a limestone karst tower called Princess Hill and it is connected with the Water & Moon Temple. From Water & Moon Temple, people can easily find Pulai Princess Cave by crossing a metal river over the Galas River and walk along the old mining pool and rubber plantation. This journey would takes 15 minutes of walking distance to complete. In the year of 2008, a 12 meters statue of Goddess Guan Yin was formed or carved from a huge limestone stalagmite by master Chinese craftsmen. Kampung Pulai was said to be founded by Hakka Chinese over 600 years. The purpose of the Hakka people for coming to this village is for the gold during the period of Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. More than 100 years ago, the gold deposits were depleted and the settlers had to turn to farming to survive. In 1948, British Colonists used the security as a reason to expel the Hakka Chinese from Kampng Pulai. These villagers lived in other states until 1960. In 1960, they get approval from the colonists to return back to Pulai and rebuilt their homes. Other than that, there are not much information about Kampung Pualai is found.
