Under the Strata Management Act 2013 and a landmark Federal Court ruling in Malaysia (Innab Salil v Verve Suites Mont’ Kiara), a Management Corporation (MC) or Joint Management Body (JMB) can legally enact and enforce house rules that forbid short stays. It is strongly advised not to keep any pets without approval, follow the law given.
