Hi, I bought an apartment as Malaysian under my name, 25 years ago but I am going to renounce malaysia citizenship to Singapore citizenship.
Please advise whether:
1. If I can still own the apartment after I have be a Singaporean;
2. If I cannot own the apartment, what alternatives do I have?

There are no issues having a property after the renouncement of citizenship, it is just that when you want to dispose of the property you are subjected to RPGT categorized as Foreigner.
