My father bought a single story terrace house in Kajang many years ago and now we want to sell it or refinance the house to buy a new house in Setia Alam. Which one is better? If refinance is better, how to refinance my house in Malaysia? Is it expensive to refinance a house?

You may want to talk to some banks or a mortgage broker on the process and costs on refinancing the house. If you refinance, please bear in mind that you will be paying two sets of monthly installments when you purchase another house. Also the commitment may affect your eligibility and loan margin to finance the new purchase.
