While Kuala Selangor is well-known for its seafood, other eateries and food options worth trying are favoured by locals and tourists such as Ikan Bakar, Cendol Bakar, Dim Sum, Satay and a couple more delicacies that are well-received. Since Kuala Selangor is a tourist town, there are many recreational options around Villa Malawati. Right across the road in less than a minute walk in the beautiful Sky Mirror which gained mass social media exposure. Slightly down the road also within reach by foot in less than a kilometre away is the Kuala Selangor Nature Park that spans across over 2.9 kilometres of coastal land largely covered by mangrove swamp. A trip to Kuala Selangor would be incomplete without dropping by the historical Melawati Hill and Kampung Kuantan Fireflies Park. Melawati Hill was built in the late 18th century as a fortress that served as defence from the enemies while a serene boat ride along Sungai Selangor to witness the magical fireflies glow at dusk is also highly recommended. The market selling prices of Villa Malawati fall roughly between the range of RM90,000 to RM160,000 depending on the size, furnishing and interior maintenance by respective owners.
