  Renting is better than buying

  I only stay on rent as I think this isn’t the time for our generation to invest in property. You may find my thought radical but it suits me. I also prefer to stay in older buildings because the management system is well-oiled to work. I have been living in Setapak Ria since 2016 after changing two apartments in five years. This one turned out to be the most comfortable and convenient for me. The apartment is still in top shape and in the past five years, I've barely spent any money on maintenance.

  A breezy 2.5 decades

  I have been living at Setapak Ria since 1994 when the developer completed the project. I’ve lived my entire childhood here, made some amazing friends and even learned to swim here. It’s a wonderful condo that is kept so clean and in shape, you’d never guess it was more than 25 years old.

  Grown up here

  I’ve seen the Setapak Ria apartment for almost a quarter of a century now. Grew up in the Taman Ayer Panas area and walked past this building every day on my way to school. Now I’ve just got into my first job and decided to rent a place close to the family so I thought Setapak Ria would be ideal since I am so familiar with the locality. It might be old, but this property is well-developed and very well-maintained. My apartment too is cozy and has a nice view.
