Project Details
Named after multiple-award-winning architect Jean Nouvel, Le Nouvel is a luxe residential high-rise comprising of two towers. Tower 1, which stands at a height of 49 storeys, houses 78 units of 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom suites, as well as two Simplex units and two Penthouses. Tower 2, which is six storeys lower than Tower 1, features a total of 117 units comprising of 1- to 3-bedroom suites and two Penthouses.
The residential units occupy the 7th floor until the 48th floor and the 42th floor. The 5-star hotel-like facilities are spread across two levels – Level 7 and 34. On the 7th floor, you’ll find the common facilities – lounge, games room, pantry, function room, karaoke room, theatre room, swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi, children’s pool, and Yoga room.
Located on Level 34 are 3 different type of lounges namely the wine lounge, cigar lounge, and cocktail lounges. Also located on the same floor is the concierge, sky lounge, sky dining, and sky kitchen. Also perched on this floor is a sky gallery which is constructed to connect the sky lounge that is located on Tower 1, and the sky dining, which is nestled in Tower 2.
All standard units at Le Nouvel occupy Tower 2 and command a built-up range of between 1,722 sq ft to 2,110 sq ft.
Parking spaces in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city centre, as we all know, is like a goldmine due to limited supply. At Le Nouvel, there are altogether 7 levels of parking, with one basement level parking and 6 levels of podium parking. Each unit comes with 2 to 4 parking spaces.
Exterior-wise, Le Nouvel evokes an uncommon façade – one which incorporates the elements of lush greenery, glass and ample natural light.
Featured in each semi-furnished unit are Poggenpohl designed kitchens and household appliances from Miele and Lema wardrobes. Bathrooms are fully-fitted by Duravit and Hans Grohe. Holding the glass in place are silk-screened window panels.
Le Nouvel is an innovative project which was the outcome of the skilled expertise and experience of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction from South Korea, the very engineers and contractors behind Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
Location

Le Nouvel serviced residence fronts Jalan Ampang and is located within a stone’s throw to Jalan Yap Kwan Seng and Jalan Pinang
Jalan Ampang is one of the longest stretch of roads in the metropolitan Kuala Lumpur (KL). Jalan Ampang begins with Masjid India on one end, and ceases at AEON Big in Ampang. Located in Kuala Lumpur’s Central Business District (CBD), Le Nouvel is nestled at the nerve centre of Kuala Lumpur – exactly opposite the Petronas Twin Towers. These two twin towers are separated by the stretch of Jalan Ampang where Avenue K shopping centre is located.
The difference in Le Nouvel is that it comprises of 2 side-by-side towers standing at 49 storeys and 43 storeys. Existing buildings parallel to Le Nouvel is Wisma Equity and Lembaga Getah Malaysia. Le Nouvel is also located on the same stretch of road as Corus Hotel and Wisma MCA.
Constantly congested on week days, Jalan Ampang (which is a major, traffic-heavy road that is connected to two other equally major roads in KL, namely Jalan Sultan Ismail to Jalan Tun Razak. Le Nouvel is accessible to Jalan Tun Razak, as well as Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Kia Peng and Jalan Bukit Bintang, just to name a few.
Another up and coming high rise residential tower nestled on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng (a 2-way, 2-lane road directly linked to Jalan Ampang) is Star Residences. Units there are also priced heftily from RM1 million to RM5 million. For shopaholics, the biggest shopping attractions in the area are Suria KLCC shopping mall and Avenue K. For the athletics at heart, there is KLCC Park, which is considered the greenest part of a city that’s full of skyscrapers! All you have to do to get to this park from Le Nouvel is just cross 2 pedestrian crossings!

This road leads to the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, and Pavilion Shopping Mall
An alternative is KL Eco Forest Park (formerly known as Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve), located at the base of KL Tower along Jalan P Ramlee. This “natural rainforest” park, roughly 9.37 acres in size, is a treasure trove within the city due to a scarcity of its kind! It’s among the oldest protected jungles in Kuala Lumpur and was gazetted in as far back as 1906.
Located on Jalan Raja Chulan, the park opens daily from 7am to 6pm. Admission is free. The distance between this park, which features canopied walkways, is 2 kilometres via Jalan P Ramlee.
Embassies located close by are The Australian High Commission, Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Malaysia, and Embassy of the Philippines. Other high rise residences in the vicinity include Dua Residency and Pavilion Residences Apartments. Condominiums nearby include The Pearl KLCC and The Oval Kuala Lumpur.
The nearest hospital is Prince Court Medical Centre. This medical centre is home to a highly extensive list of medical departments, including Anaesthesiology, Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), Breast and Endocrine Surgery Services, Burns Unit, Cardiology, Dermatology, Ear Nose and Throat Surgery, Endocrinology (Diabetes Services), an Executive Health Screening Centre, and Eye & LASIK Centre, just to name a few. The second nearest hospital is Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur opposite Great Eastern Mall along Jalan Ampang.
Hotels located within a 3km to 6 km radius are The Royal Chulan Hotel, Trader’s Hotel, famed for its SkyBar, and Mandarin Oriental Hotel, as well as Pullman City Centre Hotel and Residences. Fine dining restaurants such as Marble 8 Steakhouse and bars such as Beach Club Café dominate the local landscape.
Residents of Le Nouvel will have easy access to public transportation such as the Light Rail Transit System (LRT). The main LRT stations are KLCC, Masjid Jamek, and Dang Wangi. There is also the air-conditioned monorail. Its travel route runs from KL Sentral to Titiwangsa.
To get around Kuala Lumpur’s Central Business District (CBD), there’s GOKL free city bus service, which allows passengers to zip from Suria KLCC and Bukit Bintang, and between Bukit Bintang and Chinatown for free! This free city bus service has been running since 31st August, 2012 and it serves two routes – Green and Purple Line. The Green Line shuttles between KLCC and Bukit Bintang. The Purple Line circles from Hub Pasar Seni to Bukit Bintang.

Summary
Marvel engineering feat, world-class architecture, and superb KLCC location. These are among the unique factors of Le Nouvel at KLCC, with the Petronas Twin Towers literally at its doorstep.
Let’s not forget that the security level at this landmark residences is 5 tiers and whose architect and collaborators worked brilliantly in fusing three key elements of light, glass, and steel.
The positive aspect of this project, due to the hefty price tag that is involved, is that you get to view, touch and experience the actual thing before making any decision as this is a build-then-sell (BTS) project development by Wing Tai.
Wing Tai also manages serviced residences under the Lanson Place outfit, a high-end hospitality investment and management brand in Asia.
The presence of this brand in Kuala Lumpur can be experienced at Lanson Place at Bukit Ceylon, or Ambassador Row Hotel Suites by Lanson Place along Jalan Ampang Hilir.
