Hi. Can you pay the booking deposit to agent account without talking to owners in person?? Agent says owner not in country. So at least some documents he needs to produce and contact number of owner to confirm the identity and authenticity

Replied
Never ever pay deposit to a personal bank account as earnest deposit.
Strongly advice bank in to real estate agency bank account to prevent scammers.
Stay safe.
