Hi I am planning to buy a house. I am a Singaporean. I will be getting married to a Malaysian anytime soon. My question is, if I want to be the second owner of the property after marriage is it the righteous way? Because my future husband's bank statement alone would not be sufficient. So how would the things go? Would I be registered as the second owner as I am lawfully his wife?

For foreign buyer, you need to get consent from state authority. You can become the sole owner or 2nd(join names) owner, it will take time to get the approval, but you will get it . for more details you can contact me. I am Tony Tan from Kim Realty, 016-3018851  Maklumat lanjut

hi, my name is Ng from IQI Realty. base on your question, if your husband statement is insufficient, it's need a second owner to support the bank. anyone also can be the second owner, of couse its base on the trust (in future selling or others) but youself have your right to chose to be the second owner or not. more details will base on your actual case. thank you.
