You may invest in buying a link house to rent out eg. some Subang Jaya double storey link houses have reduced to RM760,000 +-. The rental although lower than some condominiums is stable in value and in demand due to less competition of supply. Condominiums may fetch slightly higher rental but you need to offset monthly management charges and face stiff competition to get tenants. Furthermore, land value appreciates overtime whereas condominiums after 7 years or more become less popular unless it is in a fantastic location hence less opportunity for capital appreciation.
