I found a freehold landed property in Cheras, Selangor through an agent, but the owner is Malay while I am non-bumi, I checked the title, it's "Tiada" under the "Sekatan sekatan kepenting" and nothing indicating bumi-lot etc, owner and agent both said it is non-bumi unit, transfer is ok, is it advisable to proceed?

hi, this is Alan Lai from GS Realty, speaking from my experience, from the title (geran),SPA, we wouldn't found any statment mentioned about "bumi" status, as for my previous experience, if the unit is under "FREEHOLD", you will stand a very high chance for successful transfer, we have made through few transaction in Selangor and KL area.
