I have rented out a fully furnished condo and my tenant has recently requested that i replace the dinning sets as some of the chairs are broken. Is it my responsibility as landlord to replace them or the tenant should be responsible since he broke the chairs?

Dear Anonymous, If it is proven that the Tenant broke the chairs (perhaps intentionally or due to negligence) then Tenant is liable to replace them under the Tenancy when they hand the premises back to you. If it is due to defects or fair wear and tear then it is the Landlord's obligation to provide the furnishing as in accordance with the inventory list agreed upon. Have a good day!
