I owned a freehold apartment jointly with my sister, 50 / 50. It's a 760 sq ft apartment in Taman Seri Damai (IJM), Penang. I want to sell now / this year, but she is hesitant. It's a joint ownership. What's the best way to approach selling under such circumstance?

Hi there. Since the property is jointly owned by your sister and you it is very important that both parties must agree to sell it. Otherwise you may propose to buy up her share. Then you will be the sole owner and then proceed to sell it. Fyi Taman Seri Damai is a leasehold property.
