Analysis
Taman Desa is nestled between Petaling Jaya, KL Sentral and Cheras, and close to Bandar Malaysia. This could mean a huge potential for capital appreciation for residents of Desa Green.
Taman Desa has little land available for development. However, one of the more interesting projects is the redevelopment of the old Desa Water Park in Taman Danau Desa. The site, previously occupied by a theme park and restaurant, is owned by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), and was sold to developer Aset Kayamas Sdn Bhd for RM500 million in 2016.
