Meanwhile, another sub-district Pengkalan Hulu’s major economic activity are farming and fruits plantations. Pengkalan Hulu is 380 ft above sea levels hence, it has cooler weather and is a favourite for golfers and holiday makers alike. Besides the above, Grik is a sleepy town within the Hulu Perak district and its main economic driver is of course, eco-tourism as it is surrounded by abundant greeneries and nature.
