Rasa is a town in the Hulu Selangor district, in the state of Selangor. Due to the discovery of tin ore in the mid 1850s and influx of workers to nearby Kuala Kubu Baru, this overflowed into Rasa, where the tycoon Tan Boon Chia stayed.
