Investment-Friendly Launch Point
As an investor I like Saville Suites because it offers entry into Kuching’s unit market with mid-price PSF and good location. Listings show units from RM 450k+ for ~1,273 sq ft built-up (~RM 353/psf listing). Rental yields may not shoot through the roof, but decent if you maintain the unit and pick well. One risk: being older and leasehold means you’ll want to ensure the management is responsive and the common-area maintenance is kept up — because that affects both living comfort and resale value.

Good Value Option in Kuching
We bought our unit at Saville Suites partly because recent transaction PSF (~RM 387/psf median) looked reasonable for the area. The location is solid — near Green Heights, RH Plaza and good schools. What we realised though: condition, floor and facing matter a lot. Units on lower floors faced more road noise, and the view from some sides is less attractive. If you pick a higher floor, good facing and ensure unit condition is decent, you’ll get much more value.

Spacious Kuching Apartment in a Quiet Spot
We moved into Saville Suites about 2–3 years ago. The unit (~1,000 sq ft) gives nice space for our family, the location in Taman Jelita is convenient to Jalan Tun Jugah and the airport, and it feels quieter than the city-centre blocks. On the flip side: the building is a little older, and some common areas (lift lobby, corridor paint) show wear. For the price and position though, we’re quite comfortable.
