Private schools include Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens, Matahari International School, Raffles International School, and Marlborough College Malaysia, which is a full boarding school. Kindergartens in the area include Tadika Perintis, Alpha Idealistic Preschool, Aster Preschool and The Kids University. Besides this, there are also tuition centers, child care centers and other child development centers such as dance schools and music schools.

As with most of Malaysia, there are plenty of restaurants and eateries at Nusa Bayu that offer a wide variety of food choices at affordable prices. Among these are Restoran Tomyam Nusabayu Jahri that serves the delicious spicy and tangy tom yam soup, LWL Seafood Restaurant, Restauran Periuk Kampung which has Malay cuisine, and a short drive will bring you to Mkak South Indian Cuisine. Fast food chains such as Marrybrown also have their outlets nearby.

The closest shopping malls would be the GP Mall Gelang Patah, and GP Sentral. A 10 to 12 minutes’ drive will bring you to other malls such as AEON Mall Bukit Indah, Mall of Medini, and Eco Botanic City. All these malls have plenty of retail outlets as well as food and beverage outlets. There are numerous smaller supermarkets, mini markets and grocery shops that are available as well, such as Madeena Frozen Mart, YSL Fresh Mart (Gelang Patah), and Pasaraya Everjoy, where one can find all the basic necessities that are needed. For medical attention, one can head over to the Columbia Asia Hospital. Legoland Malaysia, which is one of Johor’s main tourist attractions and one of the main theme parks in Malaysia, is only about a 15 minutes’ drive away. There are even several ‘homestays’ Nusa Bayu that cater to people who are visiting Legoland and the other theme parks. Other amenities that are easily available at Nusa Bayu include clinics, pharmacies, banks, ATMs and places of worship.

Properties here at Nusa Bayu are leasehold but it is still definitely an area worth the consideration as property here is ideal for individuals and families as well as for those who want to invest in the property market.
