Puchong is one of the youngest township in the Greater KL metropolitan area and the population mainly comprises of Chinese and foreign workers. The city is located in Selangor Malaysia and some of the notable residential areas in the city are Bandar Kinrara, Taman Kinrara and Bandar Bukit Puchong 2. What was previously known as a rubber plantation and tin mining site has now developed into a blooming town and it all began in the year 1985.

There are also roads that give access to other parts of Puchong itself which are Bukit Jalil Highway, Jalan Puchong – Petaling Jaya and Jalan Puchong – Dengkil. These highways and roads give access to townships and cities such as Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Bukit Jalil and Sri Petaling.

Puchong is a city that is being constantly developed. There are bound to be a number of recreation areas that residents and visitors in Puchong can enjoy. There is a sport centre in Puchong that can be enjoyed by those who like sports. Rakan Muda Sports Complex is a sports centre where one can enjoy a game of futsal or badminton among many other sports that are allowed to be played in the complex.
