Simpang Ampat is a small town located in Southern Seberang Perai close to the Bukit MertajamButterworth and Kulim. This sub-district covers a wide area encompassing Juru, Valdor, Batu Kawan, Permatang Tinggi, Bukit Minyak, Bukit Tambun, and smaller villages within the area.
