Pahang is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia, and the third largest in Malaysia, after Sarawak and Sabah. The Pahang River flows through this state. This state is also known for its weaving industry which produces beautiful silk cloths. Gamelan Pahang is a form of Malay classical music originating from this state. The fishing industry produces dried fish and seafood, one of which is the famed keropok lekor. Traditional local dishes include nasi dagang, bubur lambuk, puding raja and nasi kebuli.
