The Hibiscus, which is commonly known as Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, is a freehold luxury hotel which is situated along the pristine Pasir Panjang beach of Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. This design of the hotel is a luxury resort-style and the concept of the hotel is Malaysia’s national flower which is hibiscus. It sprawls into the Straits of Malacca and resembles the hibiscus. Complementing the rooms is a wide range of beach and water activities. The Hibiscus can be accessed via the North-South Expressway and the Port Dickson-Seremban Highway. The only public transportation for people to get to The Hibiscus is a bus which can be taken from Port Dickson Bus Terminal. Luckily, The Hibiscus hotel does provide a free shuttle service to the guests which really give convenient to them. One of the interesting and attracting amenities called “Hibiscus Walk” can be found adjacent to the resort along Pantai Cermi. This exclusive outdoor shopping and dining spot includes street food carts selling authentic Malaysian cuisine, a souvenir shop and a holistic massage relaxation centre. Guests can choose from a wide selection of delicious Penang specialities, along with favourites of Nyonya, barbecue spreads, tropical fruits and satay and more. Besides that, other amenities that can be found nearby are Hospital Port Dickson, 7-Eleven convenient store, restaurants with the likes of Roselle Coffee House and UMI Japanese Restaurant, and etc. The 639 pool villas consist of 522 water villas which the rooms are built on the water and 117 tower rooms which the rooms are located in the tower block. These villas are all offering their guests a spectacular view of the open sea. As a luxury hotel, facilities provided can be categorized in indoor facilities and outdoor facilities. For the indoor facilities, The Hibiscus provided lobby lounge, lobby shops, gymnasium, photo booth, tour desk, children’s playground called Kidz World and Lex Spa. For outdoor facilities, they do provide bicycles, tandem bicycles, Ninebot Segway, Yoyo Car, archery, Water JPark, helicopter ride, water cruise, and giant bubble. Other than that, The Hibiscus also provided some bars and karaoke in the hotel for the people who love nightlife. The guests can spend their night time and enjoy with their friends or families in the Pool Bar, Sky Lite Bar, Lighthouse Bar or Stats Karaoke. The three bars come along with different atmosphere and concept. The Pool Bar is fully al fresco and it allows 160 pax to relax by the sparkling pool and enjoy the sea breeze with choosing from a wide selection of cocktails, beers and wines. The capacity of Sky Lite Bar is less than The Pool Bar which is only 60 pax. The climate of Sky Lite Bar is either al fresco or air-conditioned and it presents a panoramic view of the Malacca Straits. Sky Lite Bar is placed on the Main Building's top floor at 13-storey. With an amazing range of cocktails and small snacks, one can relax while travelling with family and friends and caressed by the sea breeze lull. While for the Lighthouse Bar, it is fully air-conditioned and is capable of 60 pax. It is located on top of Lighthouse Club's highest floor and it features a range of cigars, wines and liquors from around the world, complemented by cocktails and specialty drinks. The Hibiscus is developed by Kuala Lumpur Metro Group and is under management by Lexis Group Hotel. The Hibiscus is officially completed in April 2015. The purpose of developing this 5 Stars Resort is to fulfil the healthy demand for upscale accommodation from travellers, covering business and leisure segments. The selling price of The Hibiscus is RM580,000 to RM898,000 and the renting price is not available. The outlook of The Hibiscus is so unique that can attract many people to visit to Port Dickson definitely will contribute much to the development of the tourism industry.
