Cyberjaya is a modern township located at Sepang district, in Selangor. Cyberjaya is adjacent to Putrajaya, Malaysia’s administrative centre. Nearby townships Seri Kembangan and Puchong.
Cyberjaya is approximately 40 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur. Getting there is easy as it is connected via numerous expressway such as Maju Expressway (MEX), Plus Expressway, North-South Highway, SILK and the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE). It is also accessible through nearby Puchong. Other than driving, there are public transportation such as buses and taxis. It is also easily accessible from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, which is a stone’s throw away. As Cyberjaya is a rather small township, getting around is a breeze as one can never get lost in Cyberjaya.
Cyberjaya is designated as the pioneering MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor) hub and is home to many information technology and e-commerce businesses. There is nothing much in terms of amenities in Cyberjaya however amenities are basic such as banks/atm, schools, eateries and a handful of retail stores. Living in Cyberjaya is rather boring as there is not much in terms of amenities however, living in Cyberjaya can be healthy and peaceful as there is lesser traffic and noise especially at night.
As a modern township, there are a number of public and international schools in Cyberjaya. Public schools include SMK Cyberjaya, SJKC Union Cyberjaya and SK Cyberjaya 1. At the same time there are quite a few private and international schools in Cyberjaya and its surrounding area such as Oasis International School Kuala Lumpur, International School Cyberjaya, Mutiara Aman School and King Henry VIII College. Alternatively, there are also a variety of schools available in neighbouring Putrajaya. For tertiary education, there is the Multimedia University whilst Lim Kok Wing University of Creative Technology, Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, University of Cyberjaya,Kirby International College and Universiti Islam Malaysia. A short drive away is the Australian International School in neighbouring Seri Kembangan.
Cyberjaya is surrounded by many established townships and neighbourhood where the community can also get stuff from. The nearest hospital from Cyberjaya is Putrajaya and Serdang Hospital. Cyberjaya Hospital is under construction.
For recreational activities, there is the Sports Arena which offers a range of outdoor activities, the Cyberjaya Lake Garden a 400-acres green lung and the Cyberjaya Community Club features futsal courts, basketball court,badminton courts, swimming pool,gym, squash court,tennis courts,go-cart circuit and golf driving range.
Further to that, there are several supermarkets where the community shop for their daily essentials and groceries like Village Grocer,Jaya Grocer,Star Grocer Cyberjaya,RedTick Supermarket and Suria Wholesaler while shopping malls such as DPULZE Shopping mall, The Street Mall 2 Cyberjaya, Shaftsbury Square are frequently visited by the community for shopping, food and entertainment.
Even though it is a small township, Cyberjaya offers abundant food choices in the many eateries that surround Cyberjaya including popular fast food joints like Sunway and Burger King. Other eateries available are Kiraku Japanese Restaurant,Ole Ole Bali, Aroii Thai,Sushi Zanmai and Homst Restaurant which serves home-style Chinese Muslim food.
Generally, properties in Cyberjaya are freehold. Even though it’s a small town with nothing much properties there are not cheap as can be seen from its median price psf of RM 400 or median price of RM 500,000 per unit.
