Denai Alam

Denai Alam is a planned township located approximately 10 km north of the Shah Alam city centre in Selangor, alongside the Guthrie Corridor Expressway. The township was developed by Sime Darby Property and the 920 acres township was planned based on the “Denai” concept which is a 4.8 km of landscaped footpaths for pedestrians and non-motorised vehicles. The Denai concept was inspired by traditional Malay Kampong communal living in a modern neighbourhood with traditional charm. This concept also stresses on low-density development of 8 units per acre. The Denai Alam development was awarded the 2003 Planning Innovation Award by the Malaysian Institute of Planners.

 Denai Alam is a mixed development that comprises medium to high range double-storey linked houses and commercial properties. Denai Alam is located adjacent to Taman Bukit Subang, a smaller residential development also by Sime Darby. Denai Alam is easily accessible via some major highways namely Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), ELITE Highway and Shah Alam Expressway. Facilities and amenities are easily accessible within and around the township, and is also complemented by an abundance of lush greenery with other luxuries such as water features and walkways. There are even golf clubs as well as a Denai Alam Recreational and Riding Club where members can get together and share their love for horses and horse riding. Setia Alam Community Trail Head, Masjid Diraja Tengku Ampuan Jemaah, Shah Alam National Botanical Park, SnoWalk @ i-City and Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam are tourist attractions that are located near Denai Alam, whereone can go to for recreational purposes such as picnics and family outings.

There are many government, private and international schools that are also located within easy travelling distance of the area. Some of the schools are SK Taman Bukit Subang, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bukit Jelutong, Baseerah International School and Global Oak Tree Scholars. In-case of medical emergencies, there are many clinics in the vicinity that residents can go to. Some of the closest clinics are Klinik Mediviron Denai Alam, Poliklinik Mediprima @ Denai Alam, Klinik Famili Denai Alam, Klinik Bungaraya and Klinik Pergigian Suhaila. Other amenities like banks and post office, like Affin Bank, Bank Islam, Atm – Maybank Petronas Kg Melayu Subang, Public Bank – Kg Baru Subang, Bank Simpanan Nasional and Pos Mini PMN Shah Alam are in the vicinity of Denai Alam.
