Getting educated in Shah Alam

• 2 mins read

Shah Alam is the state capital of Selangor, situated approximately 30 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur to the east. Sized at 112.1 square miles, Shah Alam is houses several prominent townships such as Bukit Jelutong, Setia Alam and Kota Kemuning. All three townships were previously considered to be located on the outskirts, but are now highly sought after.

Established as the first planned city in the Klang Valley after Malaysia gained its independence and replacing Kuala Lumpur as the Selangor capital in 1978, Shah Alam is a self-sustaining city. While its ratio of residential developments are far higher than its commercial developments, amenities more than suffice in this city.
