A complete education cycle in Puchong

Puchong is a busy major town of the Petaling District, located approximately 25 kilometres southwest of Kuala Lumpur. It is a self-sufficient township that comes with its own commercial centres, medical centres, recreation and shopping centres as well as a full range of education institutions to cater to all ages.

Puchong is also surrounded by a variety of established townships, with Subang approximately 20 minutes away, Bukit Jalil at a mere 20 minutes or so, and Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park a short drive away. The other popular districts that are located within a close proximity is Seri Kembangan, Serdang, Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.

In as early as the 1980s, Puchong was a quiet town that was considered to be located on the outskirts with a lack of accessibility. Beginning from the early 1900s, a catalyst in form of industrial developments began to pick up tremendously in Puchong, instigating more residential developments and in turn education centres and commercial centres.

Today, Puchong is renowned for its good food and affordable housing developments, along with a comprehensive array of banks, education centres, and great public transportation in form of the new MRT stations and lines that connect the residents to the entire Klang Valley – from Kajang to Sungai Besi and the KL city centre.

For parents who wish for the children to receive an international syllabus education, there is R.E.A.L Kids Puchong Jaya which boasts to be the best kindergarten and preschool, and the Rafflesia International & Private School that provides education for children age between 3 and 16.

While tertiary education is not readily available within Puchong, Subang has a variety of universities and colleges not more than half an hour away from the Puchong town centre. Of the less renowned are the RIMA International College, Binary University College and Putra Intelek International College. The more popular ones comprises of Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, Sunway University, The One Academy and Monash University Sunway Campus University.
