Located on the west side of Kuala Lumpur, Sri Hartamas is a highly desirable and affluent neighbourhood which offers outstanding transport links throughout the region, as well as close proximity to other popular areas such as nearby Mont Kiara and Damansara.

This beautifully maintained neighbourhood not only offers easy escape to recreational areas to the northwest of Kuala Lumpur, it also benefits from wide and spacious streets in some residential areas, making on-street parking a particularly unique feature of the neighbourhood. Additionally, this neighbourhood is also home to one of the largest exhibition centres in Asia, the MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Sri Hartamas enjoys great access to nearby highways, enjoying a great location near to the intersections of four of Kuala Lumpur’s most popular expressways.

The SPRINT Expressway sits just to the west of Sri Hartamas, with easy access to both the Kerinchi Link and Penchala Link sections of the road. This allows residents of the area to access KL City Centre by car in as little as 15 minutes, as well as enjoy easy connections to neighbourhoods throughout Kuala Lumpur.

The New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) section of the North-South Expressway, as well as the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), are also easily accessible from the area. The Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway, also known as DUKE, is equally conveniently located from the Sri Hartamas neighbourhood.

By Public Transport

While great access to highways offers simple travel by car throughout the city, Sri Hartamas also benefits from a number of public transport options to connect local residents. While the neighbourhood lacks direct access to MRT or LRT stations, nearby links provide a convenient choice for travel.

Malaysia MRT train

The Segambut KTM Komuter station is just five minutes by car to the north of Sri Hartamas, providing access to KTM Komuter services on the Port Klang Line. This route takes travelers into the heart of Kuala Lumpur, with a stop at KL Sentral station providing onward travel to both KLIA Ekspres, as well as national and regional rail services. As of June, 2018, KTM Komuter services have been temporarily replaced by a rail-replacement bus due to on-going track works on this line.

RapidKL bus route 190 also links Sri Hartamas with nearby Mont Kiara, as well as Segambut KTM Komuter station. This route provides onward travel to Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in downtown Kuala Lumpur.

The Pusat Bandar Damansara MRT Station provides the nearest access to MRT services on the Sungai Buloh–Kajang (SBK) line, linking to KL Sentral via Muzium Negara. The MRT station is a short 10-15 minute drive from Sri Hartamas, and can also be accessed through Rapid KL bus services.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is accessible by car or taxi in little over an hour, providing direct links to a range of international and domestic locations, and benefiting from the huge number of flights that land and depart daily from Malaysia’s largest airport. Transport links to KL Sentral provide alternative routes to the airport via the KLIA Ekspres.
