Taman Mutiara MRT station is just right outside of Taman Mutiara Barat, which is situated on the MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang line. This station runs along Jalan Cheras and serves Taman Segar on one side, and Taman Mutiara Barat on the other side.

Other malls nearby include Cheras Leisure Mall, Eko Cheras Mall, Cheras Sentral Mall, and furniture and lifestyle giant IKEA Cheras, where one can easily find an abundance of luxury and upmarket shops, restaurants, cafes and entertainment in one central convenient location.
Parents have variety of choices of national schools nearby, such as the SK Taman Sri Muda 2, Sri Murni National School, and St. John’s Institution and Victoria Institution.
